Greenport Venlo's assignment is to create a new 400-hectares-large business park (four million square metres) while also creating and strengthening 400 hectares of nature. Therefore, we define these as working landscapes.

This combination of landscapes makes Greenport Venlo a sustainable location for companies in the manufacturing industry, large-scale logistics industry, trade industry and agribusiness industry. Furthermore, Greenport Venlo is one of the largest horticultural regions in Europe. The hinterland of Greenport Venlo consists of millions of consumers spread across the Netherlands and Germany.

The establishment options for companies and the resulting economic growth will create an additional 10,000 jobs. Moreover, the natural environment is also a focal point in the development of the area, as it has always been a region in which the landscape has played a significant role.
